COPE participated to the conference “I don’t go out anymore” of the Hikikomori Association

The conference “I don’t go out anymore” was held on Saturday 25th of November at the Philharmonic hall in Rovereto, organized by the Hikikomori Italia association. The conference aimed to raise awareness of the phenomenon of social withdrawal in Italy and propose a reflection on the possibilities of prevention and methods of intervention. Countless interventions were made, starting from some parents who told how they were affected by the problem, from experts on the topic and institutional professionals in the social, health and educational fields involved in the prevention and intervention paths. The room was full of people, showing the interest of the community on this issue. Although we could not be included in the original program, a short time was agreed to briefly illustrate the COPE project and an information point with leaflets could be displayed.

A heartfelt thank you to the Association which, in addition to supporting COPE in referring young people, also offered us this opportunity…
