On 21 November in Trento (Italy), a workshop organized by the Provincial Health Services Agency was held about the COPE project, with a diverse range of local stakeholders and public institutions.
Present were representatives of the Education and Culture Department, Health and Social Policy Department, Labour Agency, Valley Communities (Presidents and Heads of Social Services), Professional Association of the Social Workers, Health Council, FTC/Consolida, Child Neuropsychiatry, Mental Health Department, Prevention Department and Social Policy Service.
The COPE project was presented, making a “call to action” by signing the memorandum of collaboration with the project and sharing its vision.
This was followed by a discussion of the programme contents of the COPE project and ways in which the different institutions could initiate operational collaboration in the project’s area of intervention. This discussion was held with a focus on the provincial legal framework, analysing the issue of NEET and social exclusion of vulnerable youth and identifying the common elements between the COPE project and the strategy of the Directorate of Social Integration and Health for the coming years.
In addition to the institutions listed above, other actors in the territory will be involved in upcoming meetings, namely voluntary associations, parishes, sports clubs and companies.
The workshop took place in a face-to-face format at the auditorium of the Provincial Health Services Agency and also online. The recording of the event can be found here: https://youtu.be/4fxgLQd19fc
