International Youth Day is celebrated annually on August 12th, with the aim of recognising the key role of young people in societies. This day stands as an opportunity to draw the international community’s attention to the role of youth for the progress of society and for sustainable development. The theme this year is “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a world for all ages”, which seeks to raise awareness of the importance of intergenerational solidarity in ensuring inclusive and sustainable recovery.
For the C.O.P.E. project, youth empowerment is key!
C.O.P.E. – Capabilities, Opportunities, Places and Engagement aims to implement and evaluate an integrated intervention for the social involvement of young people, promoting the inclusion of young NEETs.
